no surprises here. Indiatimes ran an interesting article yesterday featuring the best smooches, Bollywood style and promptly the Madhuri Dixit Dayavan kiss was in at the top. The film as many of you will know already featured one of the longest smooches in Bollywood between a very young Madhuri Dixit and a much older Vinod Khanna. It was directed by Feroz Khan. I truly felt that it was one of the defining moments of Madhuri's Career as it made people sit up and take notice. This girl meant serious business. I can tell you that I was quite taken a back as we weren't that used to seeing full fledged moments on the screen then.

I was quite excited recently with the prospect of seeing Madhuri Dixit in a Mrs. Rabinson kind of role with Ranbir Kapoor for Prakash Jha's Draupadi but, today mornings times has just sucked the air out of me. Apparently the whole thing never happened, it was just rumours.
Well, now I am sad and angry, I was really looking forward to the idea of seeing Madhuri Dixit on the silver screen again. I think Mr. Jha just looking at the excitement and the buzz that news created it would be a good idea to do a project like this even if you weren't planning to, what say you?

Now, how rare is this. I have never seen these on the Internet before. This is Madhuri Dixit's first glimpse in Bollywood, done way back in 1984 these pictures are from her debut movie Abodh. A very young looking Madhuri Dixit.
I, unfortunately have not been able to see Abodh but I'm dying to. Wonder if one can pick out a super star in the making from the beginning. All Madhuri fans, any comments?

found this old poster of Madhuri Dixit, its for a stage show. Just observe this poster for a while and you can easily understand one thing its Madhuri who's driving the show, It clearly spells out Madhuri Dixit Live in Concert with Superstars. That was the position Madhuri had at one point of time. I know for a fact that at a point producers and directors used to fix on Madhuri Dixit as a leading lady and then hunt for a leading man to fit with her. No wonder they call her a legend in the Bollywood world.

ok, this is exciting stuff, times reported in an article that Madhuri Dixit is likely to play the older women seducing the boy kind of stuff in Prakash Jha’s new movie. Its going to be a mix of that and a modern Draupadi kind of a thing. Now if you have watched the Graduate and you are a Madhuri fan then the protects can only make you excited. found these pictures of pretty-pretty Dil Madhuri Dixit posing with Aamir Khan. Although Madhuri did only a few movies with Aamir they were still and entertaining pair. Madhuri of course went on to win the Best Actress Filmfare award for her performance in this movie.
